300 gr of green beans
3 garlic cloves
6 nice mushrooms (shiitake or wild mushroom depending on season and where you live)
200 gr of minced beef (can used minced pork or minced chicken)
1 teaspoon of fresh oregano
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Clean the green beans by cutting the tips and breaking them in 2, peel the string if one appears.
Blanchi the green beans in salted boiling water for 1 minute and reserve in a sieve.
Peel and slice the onion, cook in a frypan with olive oil and crushed garlic.
Add ground meat, oregano and sliced mushrooms.
Once the mushrooms and meat are cooked add the green beans for a last stir on medium heat.
You can use frozen beans or string beans if no time to peel them.
Great with a tomato salad as entree.
Drink a glass of red wine.
